BettyASHTONASHTON - BETTY, December 3, 2020. Peacefully at Bodelwyddan Residential Home, Rhosneigr and formerly of Heol Bradwen, Four Mile Bridge, Valley. Aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Dear mother of Stephen and the late Michael. Devoted sister of the late Margaret (Peggy) Manning and Hilda, Ellis, Norman and Teddy Connor. Mother-in-law to Sue; grandmother to Christian and Matthew and great grandmother to six children. Special friend of Samantha and partner Phil. Remembered fondly by close family: David and Sue Ashton; Martin, Angela and James Connor; Sarah and Gerard Owen-Rafferty; Tim Edwards and partner Carol; Jack Edwards; Polly Edwards and partner Will; and by Brian Connor and partner Les. Her passing marks the end of an era on Anglesey for the Ashton and Connor families going back to the early years of the last century. Private service of Committal on 17 December 2020 at Bangor Crematorium at 1.30pm. No flowers please. Donations if so desired in her memory will be gratefully received towards Cancer Research UK c/o O R Jones & Co (JM & ML Walsh), Penrhyn Yard, Holyhead. Tel: 01407 762136.
